Academic mobility: United Kingdom (St. George’s University, London – 2014, 2016), Greece (Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, 2015), Austria (Open Medical Institute of Salzburg, 2017).
From 2009 to 2022 – Head of the course “Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine”, held the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Family Medicine, at various times was curator of the Student Scientific Society of the Medical Institute, Deputy Director of the Medical Institute. Scholar of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (2010-2012), the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2014-2016). Winner of university competitions: “The best teacher of SSU” (2020), “The best teacher through the eyes of students” (2020), “The use of own mobile devices in the educational process” (2018).
Research interests: study of prepathological and latent pathological conditions of the cardiovascular system, establishing the importance of autonomic disorders for quality of life, sports efficiency and long-term consequences for athletes. Yuri Ataman is the author of 15 articles in Scopus, 7 textbooks for students, 2 patents for utility models.
Other activities: member of the scientific and methodological commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (subcommittee “Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy”), member of the commission of the Ministry of Education and Science on evaluation of scientific projects of young scientists.
