This autumn, Tetiana Oleshko, Assistant Lecturer of the Department, had the pleasure of visiting the Warsaw Academy of Physical Education within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 program, where she shared Ukrainian experience in teaching pediatric aspects of physical therapy with Polish colleagues.
During her visit, the assistant lecturer met with the department coordinator, Dr. Grzegorz Bednarczyk, toured the campus, and became familiar with the activities of the Faculty of Rehabilitation. Meetings were also held with the Vice-Dean for Development, Dr. Patrycja Adamska, and the Vice-Dean for Community Engagement, Dr. Piotr Czyżewski. The discussions focused on opportunities for further cooperation and exchange of experience between the universities.
Together with the Head of the International Office, Ms. Maja Komorowska, and the KA171 Project Coordinator, Ms. Patrycja Baszak, Ms. Oleshko discussed the implementation of mobility within the Erasmus+ KA171 program as well as other initiatives supporting the development of international cooperation.
During the visit, Tetiana Oleshko delivered engaging lectures for physical therapy students:
- Physical Therapy for Children with Cerebral Palsy – for third-year students within the course “Functional Diagnostics in Developmental Age”;
- Physical Therapy for Preterm Infants and Children with Birth Injuries – as part of the Early Childhood Intervention course.
The students sincerely expressed their gratitude for the inspiring visit, engaging lectures, and valuable exchange of experience in the field of pediatric physical therapy.
