INTRODUCTION OF NEW MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMS IN UKRAINE (REHAB-598938-EPP-1-2018-1-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP)<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Rehab Project is based in a consortium of universities with a strong experience with multinational projects. The Latvian Academy of Sport Education, as coordinator, will be in charge of logistic, administrative and financial issues concerning the course in cooperation with all the partners; European Federation of Adapted Physical Activity, Pilsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, Faculty of Rehabilitation (Poland), Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Lithuanian Sports University (Lithuania). The Ukrainian Partners include; National University of Ukraine on Physical Education and Sport (Ukraine), I.Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University (Ukraine), Lviv State University of Physical Culture named after Ivan Bobersky (Ukraine), SUMY State University (Ukraine), Testing Board (Ukraine). Concerning contractual issues the consortium based on The Partnership agreement among all parties. The Partnership agreement specified and supplemented binding commitments among themselves in addition to the provisions of the Project Contract.<\/div>

Main Goals of the Project: building professional capacity of the academic and research staff, development of the teaching\/learning\/assessment resources and creating specific educational infrastructure needed to provide the nationally new professional study program in physiotherapy.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div>
Specific Objectives are:<\/div>
  • to update and revise the current bachelor program on Physical Therapy.<\/li>
  • to create Comprehensive Physical Therapy Mastery study program.<\/li>
  • to increase professional capacity of academic\/professional personnel of at least 40 qualified PT faculty members for teaching physical therapy.<\/li>
  • to create Educational Infrastructure for Learning Physiotherapy at partner Universities.<\/li>
  • to create pilot PT master programs based on new content and innovative teaching approaches and graduate up to 200 masters in PT.<\/li><\/ul>

    Project Structure:<\/div>
    • Analysis of existing models of PT programs.<\/li>
    • New PT master curriculum development.<\/li>
    • Teaching, Learning and Assessment Resources creation (including e-resources for key modules and qualification exam).<\/li>
    • Intensive Mentorship Programs for faculty members.<\/li>
    • Creation of University rehabilitation lab, Mini-Library on physical therapy at each university.<\/li>
    • Piloting and revision of new PT master curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment tools.<\/li>
    • Piloting innovation teaching approaches (interprofessional education, vertical teaching, rehabilitation labs).<\/li>
    • Project management, monitoring and quality evaluation activities.<\/li>
    • Dissemination (through online media and live tools).<\/li><\/ul>

      Our activities:\u00a0<\/div>
      The experience gained thanks to participation in the project was used in the development of educational programs for the training of bachelors and masters in physical therapy, which is already training future physical therapists. In addition, the necessary educational and methodological support was prepared, online courses were developed, training manuals were written, including with augmented reality (Therapeutic exercises), the obtained equipment is used in the educational process, teachers took a number of courses and trainings to improve their qualifications, the topics of which will be to be used in the training of students. Thanks to the project, European-style master’s training was introduced at our university, so participation in it was useful and effective.<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
